How much is the seed of an idea worth to you?

I ask this question because it was the seed of an idea from Andrew Carnegie that was planted, nurtured and harvested by Napoleon Hill that led to the books The Laws of Success as well as Think and Grow Rich. It was the seed of an idea that sparked the imagination of Thomas Edison which fueled his never ending quest to invent a better light bulb. It was the seed of an idea that gave Oprah Winfrey the courage to turn away from shock and drama tv and create a talk show designed to help people live better lives.
